The initiative is designed to train and develop university graduates for careers focused on building and managing digital commerce platforms.

A Deep Dive into Digital Marketplaces
The eight-week program offers graduates hands-on training across a range of specializations, including software engineering, technical support, cybersecurity, user experience, marketing, law, and business.
Interns will be embedded within Mazad’s teams to work on real projects, gaining direct experience in the end-to-end management of digital marketplaces. The program focuses on practical application, covering everything from asset acquisition and listing to post-sale support and customer journey management.
Nurturing Bahrain’s Tech Talent
Nezar Habib, CEO of Mazad, emphasized the company’s goal of building a skilled local talent pool ready for the digital economy.
“We aim to prepare a generation of professionals who are well-versed in digital commerce, with a thorough understanding of how to develop and manage digital marketplace and auction platforms, and awareness of the vital role each discipline plays in driving overall success,” stated Habib.
From Code to Corporate Compliance
The internship is structured to provide a comprehensive view of the digital auction business. Technical interns will work on building new platform features and improving user experience. Marketing interns will focus on strategies to attract bidders and increase engagement.
Legal interns will handle terms and conditions related to e-commerce and corporate compliance, while business interns will work on product listing, pricing strategies, and maximizing returns.
