Qassim University Launches Innovation Summer 2026 with More Than 500 Applicants

Qassim University has launched Innovation Summer 2026 at its main campus in Buraidah, Saudi Arabia, with more than 500 university students, recent graduates and technology and innovation enthusiasts applying to take part.

The three-week program is organised by the university’s Innovation and Intellectual Property Centre, in partnership with its Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Chair for Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies Chair.

It offers six specialised tracks covering entrepreneurship, AI agents, AI programming, also known as Vibe Coding, e-learning, emerging technologies, and digital fabrication and modelling.

According to the announcement, the program combines practical training with knowledge-based learning under the supervision of specialists and experts. It aims to build participants’ skills in innovation, entrepreneurship and future technologies, while supporting their readiness to contribute to the knowledge economy.

The initiative forms part of the university’s efforts to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship and develop national talent in line with the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
