Visa has announced the winners of the fourth edition of its She’s Next competition in Egypt, held with Commercial International Bank (CIB) and, for the first time, Shark Tank Egypt.
More than 2,500 women-led businesses took part in the programme. Following evaluation, training and development support, nine companies advanced to the final round, where they presented their businesses to a panel of investors and business experts.
PraxiLabs won first place and a $20,000 prize. Up-Fuse came second with $15,000, while Kennah took third place and received $10,000. The three winners secured a combined $45,000 to support their next stage of growth.
According to the announcement, participants also received specialised training and mentoring focused on strengthening business models, improving pitching skills, using digital tools and emerging technologies, and preparing for sustainable growth. The programme also provided access to business leaders, investors and ecosystem partners.
CIB said its partnership with She’s Next continued for a fourth year, alongside a new collaboration with Shark Tank Egypt and an exclusive partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which delivered tailored training for finalists.
Visa said it has invested more than $3.8M globally since 2020 through grants, training programmes and initiatives supporting women entrepreneurs and small businesses.
