Scaling Digital Fatwa Services Through Artificial Intelligence
At the core of the ministry’s digital expansion is its flagship platform, Islamweb, which has operated as a cornerstone for online Islamic knowledge and fatwa delivery since 1998. Officials highlighted that artificial intelligence tools have drastically streamlined information retrieval, classification, and summarization across extensive scholarly archives. With offerings available in Arabic, English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, and Indonesian, Islamweb has processed hundreds of thousands of inquiries internationally. The integration of the AI-powered Fatwa Chat service has further elevated user engagement, matching user queries against verified databases while maintaining rigorous compliance guidelines that prohibit the system from independently formulating novel religious rulings.
Enhancing Sermon Evaluation And Preacher Support
Beyond digital outreach, the ministry is deploying artificial intelligence to optimize mosque services and evaluate Friday sermons. By utilizing advanced speech-to-text conversion and automated text analysis, the digital system assesses recorded sermons against nine distinct criteria, including topic coherence, scholarly references, structural delivery, and rhetorical effectiveness. This data-driven approach supplies imams and religious guides with quantitative feedback and practical insights, merging time-honored Islamic traditions with cutting-edge technological support.
