Kuwaiti youth organisation LOYAC has concluded the 11th edition of its Kun social entrepreneurship program, delivered in collaboration with Babson College.
Held in two periods from June 28 to July 11 and July 19 to August 1, the program brought together 68 young participants. Training took place at LOYAC’s new headquarters at Aisha School, before participants presented their final projects to the public at The Avenues mall.
The initiatives focused on practical responses to environmental and social challenges. According to the announcement, the program included interactive workshops on innovation and entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship training, prototype development, professional mentoring and presentation coaching.
The program was supported by National Bank of Kuwait, Zain and Makhazen. LOYAC said the experience helped participants build confidence, develop teamwork skills and turn community concerns into projects with tangible social impact.
The final showcase marked the conclusion of a learning and development experience designed to give participants practical exposure to entrepreneurship and help them present their ideas to sponsors and the public.
