Adobe has launched a unified plugin for ChatGPT that brings tools from Photoshop, Acrobat, Adobe Express, Firefly, Premiere, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Stock and other products into a single conversational experience.
Available globally on the ChatGPT web and app, the plugin uses more than 70 Adobe tools to support workflows such as editing photos, creating campaign videos, designing marketing assets and producing polished PDFs. Users can describe what they want in a chat, while the plugin selects the relevant Adobe tools behind the scenes.
The company said users can also turn long-form videos into social media clips, customize design templates, create product mockups and transform spreadsheets or datasets into documents such as catalogs, infographics and event badges.
Users can access the plugin by opening ChatGPT’s Plugins section and selecting Adobe, or by typing “@Adobe” in a new chat. Guest users can begin creating immediately, while those who sign in with an Adobe account can access generative capabilities, Creative Cloud files and saved work across sessions.
The plugin also allows users to move projects into Adobe’s standalone applications for advanced editing and more precise creative control. Adobe said the experience builds on its expanding integration with AI chatbot platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot.
