Egyptian startup Venduo has facilitated approximately EGP 40 million in transactions since launching its digital B2B marketplace for the fashion and textiles sector, according to the company. Nearly EGP 20 million of that total was recorded during the first six months of 2026.
The platform connects fashion brands and designers with manufacturers in Egypt, allowing them to search factory profiles, compare capabilities and define production requirements. Venduo co-founder and CEO Khaled Solouma said the transactions involved local and international brands working with Egyptian manufacturers.
Venduo said it has attracted 8,000 fashion brands and designers and more than 2,000 manufacturers across over 30 production specializations. The company aims to grow its network to 100,000 brands and manufacturers.
International brands account for around 30% of the platform’s total users, according to Solouma, supporting partnerships with Egyptian manufacturers and the export of locally made fashion and textile products to Arab markets.
The platform allows brands to access manufacturer databases and communicate with suppliers free of charge. Manufacturers pay a fixed annual subscription, regardless of the number of orders received. Venduo also said its platform helps bring manufacturers into Egypt’s formal economy and supports compliance with local and international production standards.
