Propeller, a venture capital firm focused on AI technology and infrastructure, has appointed Abdulaziz Alhouti as General Partner.
Alhouti brings experience across capital markets, venture investing and cross-border M&A. His previous roles include senior work on M&As, IPOs and privatizations at HSBC and Saudi Fransi Capital, as well as economic public policy at Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Economic Council of the Royal Court.
Most recently, he served as Chief Investment Officer at Jahez Group, where he led an investment strategy that built a $50 million corporate venture capital portfolio and completed several strategic transactions. He is also an angel investor and deal syndicator.
At Propeller, Alhouti will help shape the firm’s investment strategy across developer tools and AI-native software. He will also expand its network of founders, operators and co-investors as the firm continues deploying Fund III.
The company said the appointment will support its efforts to back AI infrastructure founders globally and strengthen innovation links between MENA and North America. Propeller Founder and Managing Partner Zaid Farekh said Alhouti’s experience across company building, acquisitions and public markets would help founders navigate different stages of growth.
