Algeria has added its “Takwine” vocational training service to the national digital government services portal, Dzair Digital Services, allowing applicants to register for vocational training programs online for the first time.

The Ministry of Vocational Training and Education said the integration is designed to simplify registration, verify applicants’ personal information and improve access through interoperability between government systems.

Registrations opened on August 8, 2026, and had reached 82,383 applicants by the time of the announcement, according to the ministry. The process will continue through the national portal.

The announcement followed a technical meeting between Minister of Vocational Training and Education Nasima Arhab and Meriem Ben Mouloud, the high commissioner for digitalisation. Officials discussed expanding data exchange between government platforms and adding more services from the vocational training sector to Dzair Digital Services.

The ministry and the High Commission for Digitalisation will continue working together to expand the portal’s public services and improve access for citizens, particularly young people.
