AI and technology businesses now account for approximately 15% of Sovereign PPG Corporate Services’ enquiries and client engagements in Saudi Arabia, according to data shared by the corporate services firm.
The company said the demand spans artificial intelligence, software, automation, digital transformation, aerospace, advanced engineering and education technology. The figures point to growing interest in establishing operations in the Kingdom as its Vision 2030 agenda pushes economic diversification and private-sector growth.
Sovereign PPG reported particularly strong interest in regulatory technology, digital tax compliance, e-invoicing and automated governance tools. Other areas include AI-powered risk and compliance platforms, workflow solutions, enterprise software and AI-enabled professional services.
James Elliot-Square, commercial director for Saudi Arabia at Sovereign PPG, said AI adoption is spreading beyond standalone technology companies. Engineering firms, consultants, education providers and professional services businesses are increasingly embedding AI into their products and operations, he said.
The company’s recent mandates have included an AI governance platform from the GCC, a US-founded legal-sector AI provider, a spacecraft engineering company, an engineering software developer, a RegTech provider and an EdTech platform.
Sovereign PPG expects demand for incorporation, licensing, governance and operational structuring support to rise as AI-driven business models develop in Saudi Arabia.
