A training program in Aswan, Egypt, is preparing 111 teachers to deliver entrepreneurship and innovation courses in technical and vocational schools ahead of the new academic year, which begins on September 12.
The program is designed to help teachers connect technical and technological education with practical skills, labor-market needs and industrial work environments, according to the announcement. Participants will also receive training in updated teaching methods and practices for technical and technology-focused education.
The program is being delivered across six training centers in the Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan administrations, allowing teachers to attend closer to their schools and reducing the need to travel. Technical education officials from the governorate and local education administrations are overseeing the sessions.
The training also covers educational subjects and personal skills, including classroom management, student engagement and other capabilities intended to support a stronger learning environment.
