Egyptian fintech company Valu has officially launched its operations in Jordan after receiving final approval from the Central Bank of Jordan to operate under a specialized financing license.
The launch, announced in the second quarter of 2026, marks Valu’s first expansion into the Jordanian market. The license allows the company to offer financing products, including Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services.
Valu Jordan began with a soft launch earlier this year and has since built relationships with merchants and financial technology providers in sectors including retail, e-commerce, education, electronics and consumer goods. Its services are available through physical points of sale and digital platforms, with repayment plans extending up to 60 months within approved credit limits.
The company has established its headquarters at King Hussein Business Park and opened three branches in Amman at Sweifieh Village, King Hussein Business Park and Taj Mall. It is also building a locally based team and working with licensed providers in credit information, payments and financial technology to support application assessment and risk management.
Valu said it plans to expand its merchant and partner network while adapting its Egyptian financing model to Jordan’s regulatory requirements and consumer needs.
