Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has appointed the Minister of Labour to the country’s Ministerial Group for Entrepreneurship, according to a decision published in the Official Gazette.
The group was originally established under Prime Ministerial Decision No. 2878 of 2024. The addition is intended to strengthen coordination among government bodies involved in supporting Egypt’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The decision, issued as Prime Ministerial Decision No. 2680 of 2026, was published in issue No. 36 bis of the Official Gazette on September 7, 2026. It takes effect from the day after publication.
The move follows a proposal from the Minister of Labour and references legislation covering companies, investment, trade, and the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
