Capital University showcased nine startups and student-led projects during the African Scientific Conference for University Sports, Cairo 2026, giving its teams an opportunity to present their ideas, products and prototypes to students, university delegations, entrepreneurs and innovation specialists.

The participating ventures were CHANGER-Tech, BioSpark, BioSilkNova, Nabd Egypt, Rehla, SITX, SIA Dynamics, Hydrogena and Tagmeaa. The teams are incubated through the university’s biocluster incubator, part of the StartUp program at Egypt’s Academy of Scientific Research.

The participation was organised through Rally – Capital University under the supervision of the university’s technology incubators office. The event brought together university leaders, academics and representatives of African universities and sports federations.

Alongside the exhibition, the university hosted a “Business Analysis for Tech Startups” training session. The programme focused on helping participants understand user and market needs, identify problems and assess opportunities linked to technology solutions.

According to the announcement, the initiative gave students practical experience in developing scalable projects and engaging with entrepreneurship communities beyond Egypt’s university environment.
