Egyptian technology company Breadfast has officially launched Breadfast Food, a restaurant delivery service integrated into its existing app.
The service follows a beta period that the company said saw strong customer adoption. It allows users to browse a curated selection of restaurants, place orders and access daily offers without leaving the Breadfast platform.
Breadfast began as a grocery delivery platform and now combines groceries, bakery products, coffee, pharmacy services and restaurant delivery in one app. The company said Breadfast Food builds on its technology, logistics network and supply chain capabilities.
The launch also creates a new channel for restaurant partners to reach Breadfast’s customer base. According to the announcement, the service is expected to create hundreds of delivery rider jobs as it expands.
Breadfast plans to grow its restaurant partner network, strengthen its presence across Egypt and extend Breadfast Food to more governorates. The company said it will continue investing in technology, operations and customer experience as it expands its everyday convenience platform.
