UAE’s E20 Investment Signs MoU with Edafa Venture to Support Agritech Startups

UAE-based E20 Investment has signed a memorandum of understanding with Edafa Venture to explore investment and collaboration opportunities in agriculture, aquaculture, food security and related technologies.

The partnership will focus on startups developing solutions for challenges across the agriculture and food sectors. E20 will contribute operational expertise, infrastructure and regional experience across the agribusiness value chain, while Edafa Venture will provide early-stage investment and strategic support, according to the announcement.

Potential areas include agritech, water and irrigation, sustainable and precision farming, post-harvest and cold-chain solutions, livestock, poultry and dairy, aquaculture, food-security infrastructure, agricultural inputs, supply chains and integrated agricultural and industrial solutions.

The companies plan to open applications to startups from different countries on September 22. Eligible businesses will be developing technologies or business models in the partnership’s target sectors, with opportunities to be assessed for collaboration and investment.

Founded in 2019, E20 Investment is headquartered in the UAE and works across agricultural production, processing and distribution. Edafa Venture focuses on early-stage startups and provides funding, strategic advice, growth support and access to business, investor and expert networks. The firm aims to support at least 200 startups by 2030.
