Qatar-based super-app Snoonu has launched Snoonu Cross-Border, a commerce platform that lets regional retailers, distributors and brands sell to customers in Qatar without opening a local store or setting up a separate customer and delivery operation.
Selected merchants can use their existing business registration in their home country while accessing Snoonu’s digital marketplace, customer base and local delivery infrastructure. Snoonu manages the customer journey, from product discovery and ordering to delivery.
The platform is designed to help businesses test demand and enter the Qatari market with less operational and legal complexity. Categories already available include electronics and gaming, sports nutrition, toys and games, and kitchen and home supplies.
Brands currently listed on the platform include LMNT, ORS, SIS, Humantra, Ultima, Boya, Thorne, Sporter, Valeo and Devo.
Snoonu founder and CEO Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri said the service is intended to connect regional markets and give consumers in Qatar access to more products without requiring brands to establish physical operations locally.
Founded in 2019, Snoonu operates across e-commerce, on-demand services, q-commerce, last-mile logistics and B2B solutions. The company said Cross-Border forms part of its broader regional growth strategy.
