Kapita Research and Business by Design co-hosted Relink Meet 15 in Baghdad, bringing together 24 Iraqi companies to discuss the shift from AI adoption to organisational transformation.
The discussion examined seven areas, including organisational culture, governance, operating costs and employee readiness. According to Kapita Research, the central question was whether companies are prepared to use AI at an organisational level or whether adoption remains limited to individual employees experimenting with tools.
The company distinguished between adoption, such as using AI to complete tasks faster, and transformation, which involves redesigning processes, roles and decision-making around the technology.
Kapita Research said its work focuses on helping organisations move AI beyond individual employees and integrate it into how teams operate. The company added that it will share the session’s key takeaways later this week.
