Lean Technologies announced six partnerships at Money20/20 Middle East, spanning open banking, lending, account opening and financial services in Saudi Arabia.
The agreements include a partnership with Qarar to embed open banking data into its platform, which is used by lenders across the Kingdom. Lean is also working with Saudi French Bank (BSF) to add onboarding verification to the bank’s digital account-opening process.
With Wataniya Finance, Lean will use its Open Banking Data Insights solutions to digitize credit risk assessment. Its partnership with Ejari will use open banking data to assess applicants based on actual income rather than declared salary, supporting monthly rent applications.
Lean also signed agreements with Musaned, the national government platform, and D360 Bank. Musaned will adopt Lean’s open banking solutions to streamline the user experience, while D360 Bank will use the technology to simplify loan applications.
The signings were completed by Lean executives and representatives from the partner organisations during the Saudi fintech event. The company said the agreements reflect its work to make financial data and open banking infrastructure available across more services.
