Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has concluded the 2026 edition of its InnovEgypt program, which trained 5,300 students and graduates across 23 governorates.
The program delivered 85 training camps involving 667 teams, bringing the total number of beneficiaries since its launch in 2013 to more than 40,000, according to the announcement.
InnovEgypt focuses on building practical skills in technology innovation and entrepreneurship, helping participants develop ideas into potential projects. Its training combines interactive sessions and workshops across three areas: innovation and technology management, idea design, and entrepreneurship.
The 2026 activities were delivered with support from several partners, trainers and host organisations, including Egypt Digital Innovation Hubs and the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center’s network of innovation ambassadors. These partners helped run the sessions and support participants throughout the program.
The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center was established by Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in 2010 to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the information and communications technology sector. The center also works to help individuals and companies benefit from technology and support the sector’s growth.
