The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the University of Science and Technology’s main campus in Aden hosted a training workshop for mentors as part of an entrepreneurship program led by Benaa Development Incubator Foundation.
The workshop was held ahead of a program designed to build the capabilities of 60 mentors and business development service providers. It focused on strengthening mentors’ readiness and improving their skills to deliver better guidance to entrepreneurs and support founders in developing their ideas and businesses.
The initiative is being implemented through a partnership between Benaa Entrepreneurship Incubator Foundation and French organisation Super-Novae, with funding from the Islamic Development Bank and the International Islamic Charitable Organization. Bin Doul Islamic Microfinance Bank is also supporting the program.
The university said hosting the workshop reflects its efforts to support entrepreneurship initiatives, strengthen capacity-building partnerships and improve business development services for entrepreneurs and project owners.
