More than 200 Egyptian startups have joined NVIDIA’s Inception program, as the company expands its engagement with the country’s artificial intelligence ecosystem.
According to NVIDIA, the program supports startups with computing resources, connectivity and market access. The participating companies work across financial services, healthcare, cybersecurity, robotics, smart spaces and software development.
NVIDIA highlighted seven startups from the program. Aidera is building an enterprise intelligence platform that connects data, systems and workflows. Intella develops Arabic speech understanding and analysis technology for sectors including finance and telecommunications. Mars Robotics focuses on autonomous robots and industrial automation, while Proteinea combines AI-based protein design with laboratory research for drug development.
Stackback is developing an open-source AI agent for software development. Fintech companies Paymob and Thunder are also using technology and AI to build financial services.
The company said the number of learners in NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Institute in Egypt grew more than tenfold in one year. It has also expanded its local investor network, with A15 and MMPIRE joining the NVIDIA VC Alliance.
The ecosystem is developing alongside local infrastructure initiatives, including a planned $400M data center project by Hassan Allam Utilities and A15, and an AI factory initiative announced by Kasava Technologies and Vodafone Egypt to provide local computing capacity.
