Saudi fintech company Dhimam has closed an undisclosed angel investment round to develop its products, strengthen its technology infrastructure and expand partnerships in the Saudi market.
The company provides escrow solutions for B2B, P2P and B2C transactions. Its platform holds funds until agreed conditions are met, then releases payment to the entitled party once the product or service has been delivered.
Dhimam said the new funding will support product development, technology improvements and a wider network of local partnerships. The company’s solutions target sectors including e-commerce, real estate, freelancing, used-car sales, subscriptions, wholesale, procurement and logistics.
The platform also offers an API that allows businesses to integrate escrow services into their own platforms. Users can create transactions, set amounts and conditions, track held funds, manage documents and delivery evidence, and raise disputes when agreed terms are not met.
Dhimam founder and CEO Ahmed Rashid Alabdullatif said the company views trust as the foundation of successful financial transactions. The Saudi startup aims to expand the use of digital escrow across transactions where payment depends on completing specific obligations.
