Orange Jordan has completed a training programme for more than 70 entrepreneurship experts and specialists from across the country, as part of efforts to strengthen support for Jordanian startups.
The programme included five intensive courses held in Aqaba, Irbid and Amman. It focused on helping participants guide startups through mentorship, communication, active listening, constructive feedback and business problem-solving.
Delivered by the Business and Professional Women Association (BPWA) under Orange Jordan’s supervision, the training also covered root-cause analysis, turning outcomes into action plans, understanding beneficiaries’ needs and building support networks for entrepreneurs.
The programme was organised under the Private Sector Access to Support Startups (PASS) initiative, implemented by Orange Jordan with support from the Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment (E4DE) project. E4DE is implemented by GIZ and co-funded by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the European Union.
Orange Jordan said the initiative supports its plans to establish a national network of private-sector mentors. PASS aims to support 130 startups by October 2026 through specialised training and mentorship designed to improve sales and productivity.
