The Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched a Professional Diploma in Entrepreneurship to prepare 25 Emirati young men and women, particularly from Fujairah, to develop and launch sustainable businesses.
The programme is being delivered in partnership with Majra, the Sustainable Impact Committee in Fujairah under the National Fund for Corporate Social Responsibility, and Higher Innovation Academy.
It combines interactive workshops, mentoring sessions and practical assignments covering business planning, financial planning and cash-flow management, branding, startup management, marketing and product development. Participants will also explore artificial intelligence and its business applications, legal requirements for setting up companies, human resources and effective management.
The programme is designed to help participants turn business ideas into viable projects and better understand market requirements, according to the announcement. On completion, participants will receive certificates from Higher Innovation Academy and the UK-based Institute of Professional Development.
Sultan Juma Al Hindasi, director general of the Fujairah Chamber, said the initiative reflects the chamber’s focus on building Emirati capabilities and supporting young people entering entrepreneurship.
