360 Food Syria, a food industries exhibition in Damascus, concluded after three days of meetings focused on Syrian products, export opportunities and new commercial partnerships.

The exhibition brought together 120 local, Arab and international companies from 18 countries. It covered the wider food value chain, including agricultural production and inputs, modern farming technologies, food processing, packaging, finished products, and marketing and distribution.

Rashid Hussein, administrative director at organiser Evex Events, said the final day saw the signing of several agreements between participating parties. Traders from outside Syria also visited the exhibition, reviewed the products on display and met participating companies.

According to Hussein, the event helped create new opportunities for exporting Syrian food products to overseas markets. He added that companies from other countries had responded positively to the Syrian market and the commercial opportunities it offers.

The exhibition was organised by Evex Events and Pyramids Group at the Damascus Fairgrounds.
