Qatar’s Namaa Centre is building an integrated support system to help turn social and community-focused ideas into sustainable ventures, its executive director Ghanem bin Saleh Al Ali said.

The centre supported around 989 beneficiaries in the first half of 2026, following 2,283 beneficiaries in 2025. Its services include training, professional development, incubation, consulting, volunteering and social innovation programs.

Namaa also hosted 63 community events in 2025, while its social incubator supported 252 projects across different development stages. The incubator provides idea assessment, training, mentoring, specialised consulting and connections to experts, partners and supporting organisations.

The centre’s Social Entrepreneurship Award is running its third edition in 2026, with tracks for the best social venture idea, the best established social venture and a competition for secondary school students. The awards have a total value of more than QAR 360,000 and include training, evaluation, guidance and access to partners and experts.

According to the announcement, a partnership with delivery and digital commerce company Snoonu is adding technical support, including digital consultations and practical training for selected school projects.

Namaa plans to expand its incubation services, partnerships and digital channels. It will also host its third Social Entrepreneurship Award and a Social Innovation Forum on November 19, 2026, at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
