Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPARK) has launched the Sharjah Advanced AI Industrial Accelerator, a programme supporting AI-driven industrial companies from the UAE and abroad.
Announced at AI Everything Abu Dhabi, the accelerator will focus on moving AI solutions from prototypes to pilots, production systems and scalable businesses. Priority areas include advanced manufacturing and robotics, smart mobility and logistics, healthcare and life sciences, water and sustainability, agri-tech and food, and AI infrastructure.
The top three companies will receive $50,000, $25,000 and $15,000 respectively. According to the announcement, the funding can support pilots, product development, market entry and scale-up.
Selected participants will gain access to SOILAB, SPARK’s prototyping and fabrication facility, as well as laboratories, applied R&D facilities, mentorship, testbeds and customer discovery support. The programme also offers introductions to government and industry challenge owners, investors and potential partners, alongside discounted or complimentary licensing and business setup services.
The accelerator will use a twin-track model, combining direct outreach to established technology companies and scale-ups with an international open call for startups, research spin-outs and AI-enabled industrial firms.
