Dubai CommerCity has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Global Commerce Foundation to advance the use of agentic artificial intelligence in digital commerce and deepen international trade cooperation.
The partnership will examine AI-powered tools that can automate business processes, improve operational efficiency and help companies expand into new markets, according to the announcement. Its focus will include digital and cross-border commerce, emerging technologies and new collaborative business models.
The agreement was signed at Dubai CommerCity’s headquarters during Ai Everything Abu Dhabi 2026. The parties will also explore practical applications of agentic AI, allowing businesses to handle tasks more autonomously while improving productivity and market access.
As part of the deal, Dubai will host the Global Finale of the Tetrix Agentic World League in 2027 during Dubai AI Week. The event is expected to bring together innovators, businesses and institutions from international markets.
The collaboration also covers applied research, technology demonstrations, market studies and proof-of-concept projects. Other areas include executive education, professional training, mentorship, talent development, incubation programmes and business accelerators.
The Global Commerce Foundation said the agreement will connect Dubai’s digital commerce ecosystem with international networks, including the eCommerce Institute in Latin America and the Caribbean and the European Institute for Commerce Management.
