Dubai has launched the Create AI Agents Championship, a global competition aimed at turning autonomous AI systems into commercially viable products and services.
The initiative is open to individuals and teams worldwide, with no minimum age or technical background requirements. Applicants can submit an idea, prototype or early-stage product, while existing businesses can enter AI-agent solutions that have not yet been fully commercialized.
Participants will compete in four categories: social impact, personal productivity, business applications and youth innovation. Each category winner will receive $150,000 to develop their solution, while one winner will receive an additional $272,000 and the title of AI Agent of the Year, according to the announcement.
The competition will also offer training and mentorship. A Digital Academy is scheduled to launch in November with four advanced courses, four practical workshops and mentorship sessions. Registration closes in December 2026, when participants must submit a prototype, pitch deck and demonstration video.
The championship builds on Dubai’s Create Apps Championship, which has received 15,564 applications from 153 countries across three editions and supported the development of 1,700 prototypes.
