Al Jumum Technical College is partnering with the Makkah Chamber of Commerce to organise a Business Community visit for around 150 trainees from administration, accounting and marketing programmes, as well as people interested in entrepreneurship.

The visit will introduce participants to the business environment and connect them with private-sector leaders and entrepreneurs. It will include a tour of the chamber’s facilities and service centres, including its Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, along with meetings with the chamber’s secretary-general and the head of its Young Business Committee.

Entrepreneurs Abdulaziz Buqis, Ayman Al Sharif and Salman will also share experiences from establishing and developing their ventures, including the challenges they faced and lessons from their professional and entrepreneurial journeys.

According to the announcement, the programme is designed to improve trainees’ readiness for the labour market, expand their professional networks and expose them to practical business experiences. The partnership also aims to help the college incorporate private-sector feedback into its training programmes and activities, while building a database of national talent to support connections with employers.

The college said the initiative reflects its focus on aligning training outcomes with changing labour-market and economic needs.
