DarDoc Launches AI Tool to Track Patient Progress Between Appointments

4 Min Read

The UAE healthcare platform’s new truesightᴮᴱᵀᴬ system analyses treatment history and patient activity to surface relevant updates, with a second phase planned to include real-time consultation transcription.

Dubai-based healthcare platform DarDoc has launched truesightᴮᴱᵀᴬ, a machine learning-powered intelligence layer integrated into its Lifestyle Rx digital clinic. The tool is designed to help patients and clinicians track changes between appointments by analysing treatment history, medication intake, activity data and information patients share through the app.

The system draws on consultation notes, prescriptions, dose changes, weight and activity measurements, medication records, and patient messages in Arabic or English. It maintains a contextual record of each patient’s routines and previous decisions, then surfaces one relevant observation or prompt at a time.

Rather than automatically attributing changes to a particular cause, truesightᴮᴱᵀᴬ can ask patients for clarification. DarDoc says the system can also revise or withdraw an earlier observation when new information changes its interpretation.

Supporting care between appointments

The tool is designed to give clinicians a clearer picture of what has happened since a patient’s last consultation. Before an appointment, it prepares a structured summary of the patient’s progress, including changes, previous interventions and relevant context.

For example, DarDoc described a beta case in which a patient’s weight and meal patterns changed over a week. After the system asked whether anything had changed, the patient explained they were staying in hospital with a family member. The system recorded the context rather than treating the change as non-adherence.

Truesightᴮᴱᵀᴬ does not diagnose, prescribe or provide treatment. Instead, it organises information already provided by patients and presents it to them and their care teams, leaving clinical decisions to licensed professionals.

“Healthcare has traditionally focused on the treatment itself, but outcomes are shaped by what happens between appointments. That’s where adherence and persistence matter most,” said Keswin Suresh, co-founder of DarDoc.

Real-time consultation transcription planned

A second phase is expected to extend the system into consultations, using real-time transcription to capture physician-patient conversations. DarDoc says the tool will combine these conversations with digitised laboratory results and biomarker history to provide a more complete view of each patient’s care.

According to the company, patients will consent to transcription during Lifestyle Rx onboarding, while DarDoc physicians will operate under a standing agreement to use the tool.

DarDoc describes truesightᴮᴱᵀᴬ as the first system of its kind in the UAE. The beta is currently available to Lifestyle Rx members using iOS, with Android availability planned after the iOS release. The company has not disclosed beta enrolment numbers.

Founded in 2021 by Samer Masri and Keswin Suresh, DarDoc provides at-home healthcare and longevity services in the UAE, including home nursing, laboratory testing, IV therapy and digital clinical services. The company is an alumnus of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund’s Innovation Accelerator programme.
