Startup Syria will host “Entrepreneurship at an Early Age,” a free in-person discussion for university students and young people interested in building startups.
The event will feature founders from four Syrian startups: Cokids, which teaches children programming through physical instruction cards and an app; Khteeb.ai, an AI-powered platform for improving children’s Modern Standard Arabic; sammaali, an educational app that tests students’ memorisation; and Aleef, an e-commerce company for pet products and services.
Speakers will share how they developed their ideas, understood user needs, built products and handled challenges in the Syrian startup environment. The discussion will also cover idea validation, incubators and accelerators, entrepreneurship competitions, networking and building effective teams.
The event will take place on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 4pm to 6pm at the Youth Innovation Center in Damascus’s Kafr Souseh district. It will be held in Arabic as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week Syria 2026, organised by Cokids in cooperation with the Youth Innovation Center.
