2 Min Read

TechStart is offering a Business Development Experts grant to help Palestinian IT firms build connections with international buyers and partners, identify opportunities in target markets and understand local competition and business requirements.

The program matches eligible companies with experts who have experience in a specific overseas market. Support can cover up to six months, with TechStart covering up to 50% of the expert’s salary. Small companies and women-owned or women-led businesses may receive coverage of up to 70%.

Eligible applicants include IT services companies, technology-focused business service providers and mature tech or tech-enabled startups with market traction and revenue. Firms must be legally registered and operating in the West Bank, be in the process of registering, or commit to registering with the Ministry of National Economy. They must also have been operational for at least six months.

Applicants should demonstrate a commercially sound business plan, growth potential, a market-ready offering, a defined target market and a clear need for a Business Development Expert. Women- and youth-led businesses, as well as eligible firms operating in rural areas, are encouraged to apply.

The program also accepts applications from experts with relevant market expertise, professional networks and sales, marketing or business development experience.
