Blue2Scale has opened applications for its 2026–2027 acceleration programme, which will support 10 innovative startups in Algeria’s blue economy over six months.
The programme is open to legally registered Algerian companies with an innovation, startup or scale-up label, or proof that they have applied for one. Applicants must be at least at the proof-of-concept stage and should operate in, or demonstrate a direct link to, one of Algeria’s 14 coastal wilayas. Projects at the idea stage are not eligible.
Selected startups will receive individual coaching, sector-focused mentoring, support with commercial traction and market access, investment-readiness preparation, partnership opportunities and connections with the Euro-Mediterranean blue economy ecosystem. The programme will conclude with a Demo Day in Algiers for investors, companies and institutional partners.
Applications close on 2 November 2026 at 23:59 and must be submitted through Soolvit. Blue2Scale is part of the EU-funded Blue Economy, Fisheries and Aquaculture Programme and is led by Leancubator in consortium with Orkids Incubator.
