Orange Jordan and the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at supporting startups and strengthening innovation in Jordan.

The agreement was signed by JODDB Director General Ayman Ahmad Al-Batran and Orange Jordan CEO Philippe Mansour on the sidelines of the SOFEX 2026 exhibition and conference.

Under the partnership, startups will receive access to mentorship, training camps, incubation programs and business development activities. The two organisations also plan to launch joint innovation initiatives, including hackathons and challenges focused on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, augmented and virtual reality, the Internet of Things and robotics.

The partnership will also connect promising startups with technical collaboration and investment opportunities. JODDB’s technical and engineering capabilities will support the evaluation and testing of prototypes, as well as selected innovation projects, according to the announcement.

Mansour said the agreement combines Orange Jordan’s entrepreneurial and digital expertise with JODDB’s engineering capabilities. Al-Batran said the collaboration would help startups turn ideas into practical, scalable products and services while expanding cooperation between national institutions and the private sector.
