Abu Dhabi-based startup TACTICA AI, a spinout from the UAE’s Technology Innovation Institute (TII), has officially launched its multi-domain decision-support platform. The debut took place at the Make it in the Emirates 2026 forum, showcasing what is believed to be the region’s first platform of its kind, which uses agentic AI to move beyond data analysis and directly support high-stakes actions.

From Data Dashboards to Mission Control
Unlike conventional AI tools that present data on dashboards for human interpretation, TACTICA AI’s platform operates on a “mission-first” principle. It begins by defining the desired outcome and then autonomously identifies the necessary data sources, tools, and workflows to achieve it.
The system synthesizes a wide array of inputs—including geospatial intelligence, open-source data, sensor feeds, video, and IoT systems—into a single, unified operational layer. This approach is designed to shorten the gap between analysis, decision-making, and execution in complex, time-sensitive environments where speed and accuracy are paramount.
Human Oversight in High-Stakes Environments
While engineered for speed, the platform maintains critical human control. A “human-in-the-loop” architecture is built-in, requiring human validation at key decision points to ensure accountability. This allows operators in sectors from national security and crisis response to smart city management and industrial logistics to act with greater confidence.
The underlying technology, developed by TII in less than 35 days, has already been validated in real-world deployments. Its sensor-agnostic design allows for integration with existing infrastructure, preventing supplier lock-in. The platform also supports natural-language interaction, assisting analysts and operators in real time. To bolster its capabilities, TACTICA AI has established international partnerships with French geospatial imagery firm Safran and Polish geospatial company Satim.
A Product of Abu Dhabi’s Deep Tech Ecosystem
TACTICA AI is the latest venture to emerge from Abu Dhabi’s Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) ecosystem and its commercialization arm, VentureOne. The launch reflects ATRC’s strategy of translating advanced research into market-ready products.
The company joins a growing portfolio of TII spinouts, including enterprise AI firm AI71, quantum-secure encryption company QuantumGate, autonomous vehicle developer SteerAI, and agritech robotics startup Nabat.
