Adobe is expanding its partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and HUMAIN in a commitment valued at more than $4B.
Under the initiative, more than 27 million eligible Saudi citizens and residents aged 13 and above will receive 12 months of free access to Adobe Firefly Standard and Adobe Express Premium features by the end of 2026, according to the company.
The partnership also includes a jointly developed image-generation model built using Adobe Firefly Foundry. Designed with Saudi cultural context in mind, the model will allow users to create images through Arabic-language prompts.
Adobe has also introduced Modern Standard Arabic right-to-left support globally across Adobe Express desktop, web and iOS, covering typography, text editing, interface controls and templates.
From early 2027, eligible startups and early-stage entrepreneurs taking part in MCIT’s Center of Digital Entrepreneurship and The Garage will receive one year of free access to selected Adobe tools, expertise and training. Adobe and MCIT Future Skills are also developing free practical courses through the Adobe Digital Academy, focused on creative, marketing and AI skills.
