Saudi Arabia-based HUMAIN is expanding its enterprise AI strategy with a new infrastructure solution developed with AMD and a planned operating system partnership with KORA Systems.
Announced on August 30, “AI in a Box” is designed to help companies deploy AI workloads without relying on hyperscale systems. According to the company, the solution combines HUMAIN’s AI capabilities with AMD Instinct GPUs and AMD EPYC CPUs, giving organizations a way to test use cases and expand access to AI tools.
The offering targets Saudi companies in sectors including oil and gas, financial services and manufacturing. It builds on a broader AMD and HUMAIN collaboration involving up to $10B in AI infrastructure initiatives. AMD, HUMAIN and Cisco also plan to deploy up to 1 GW of AI infrastructure in Saudi Arabia by 2030.
Separately, HUMAIN and KORA Systems are developing HUMAIN OS, an AI-native operating system built on Linux. The system is intended to coordinate models, applications, devices and enterprise data based on factors such as privacy, latency, connectivity, cost and company policy.
An early version is being demonstrated at LEAP 2026, while commercial availability is targeted for 2027. Planned capabilities include on-device AI, semantic search, agentic computer use and access to authorized enterprise information.
