Valeo Health, the AI-driven at-home healthcare platform, is marking its fifth anniversary by crossing a significant milestone: 1 million orders processed across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. To commemorate the occasion, the company released anonymized data from its user base, revealing a critical insight into regional health—many individuals are unaware of underlying health risks until they undergo testing.
Quick Facts
- 1 million health orders processed in five years.
- 66% of first-time testers had high cholesterol.
- Users on guided journeys lost 20% of body weight.
A Sobering Look at Regional Health
The data, gathered over five years from at-home testing, consultations, and guided health programmes in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, paints a clear picture of undiagnosed health issues. Among users testing for the first time, two-thirds (66%) discovered they had high cholesterol, while a third (33%) showed elevated HbA1c levels, a key indicator for pre-diabetes.
Furthermore, within the cohort enrolled in Valeo’s weight management programmes, 75% began their journey with a Body Mass Index (BMI) above the recommended 25.
From Insight to Improvement
The findings also highlight the impact of proactive health management. Once users were aware of their health markers, a significant number demonstrated measurable improvements. Of those who retested, 47.6% successfully lowered their cholesterol. Participants in guided weight loss programmes saw an average reduction of 20% in their body weight.
“Nearly one million health orders later, the data tells a clear story: many people are living with health risks they don’t know they have,” said Nadin Karadag, COO & Co-Founder of Valeo Health. “The encouraging part is that when people understand their health and take action, those markers improve. The biggest risk isn’t getting a bad result – it’s never testing in the first place.”
Specifically, 47% of users on Valeo’s Berberine+ programme improved their HbA1c levels within three to four months. Additionally, 42% of users saw an improvement in their Longevity Score upon retesting.
Tapping into the Longevity Trend
Over the past year, Valeo has broadened its service offerings to include doctor-guided peptide therapy, newborn care, postpartum wellness, hair growth treatments, and advanced functional testing. This expansion aligns with a growing regional focus on preventative health and longevity, underscored by initiatives like the recently announced Dubai Longevity Authority.
“We’ve been focused on longevity for the past five years, long before it became a mainstream healthcare conversation,” stated Sundeep Sahni, CEO & Co-Founder of Valeo Health. “The launch of the Dubai Longevity Authority reflects a growing shift toward prevention and healthy ageing. Our own data shows that when people receive personalised support, they can meaningfully improve their long-term health.”
Sahni added that these outcomes are powered by a combination of AI-driven insights, wearable device integration, continuous monitoring, and expert guidance from doctors and nutritionists through the Valeo Health app.
To celebrate its anniversary, Valeo Health is offering AED 200 off services with the code BDAY5 and is hosting a giveaway for 50 Advanced Blood Tests on its Instagram channel.
