The Bahraini-Omani Entrepreneurs Association discussed new initiatives to support entrepreneurs and expand business cooperation between Bahrain and Oman during a board meeting held in Salalah.
The meeting was chaired by Ahmed Sabah Al Sloom, the association’s chairman, at the Rotana Hotel in Salalah. Bahrain’s ambassador to Oman, Juma Al Kaabi, and the association’s chief executive, Hajiya Al Said, also attended.
Board members reviewed the association’s plan for the first quarter, proposed events and its implementation roadmap. Discussions included a proposed exhibition in Bahrain for Omani brands, giving companies a platform to showcase their products and services and explore access to the Bahraini market.
The board also considered signing a memorandum of understanding with the Omani Entrepreneurs Association to support knowledge exchange and build a longer-term institutional partnership.
Preparations for an incubation conference were also discussed, including coordination with Oman’s Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, known as Riada, on responsibilities for organising the event.
The association said it would develop clear action plans to turn the proposals into practical programmes supporting entrepreneurship and economic cooperation between the two countries.
