barq Group, the parent company of digital platform barq, has signed an agreement with Beyon to bring Beyon Money’s operations into barq’s fintech platform.
The agreement was signed at FinTech Forward 2026 in the presence of senior executives from both organisations. According to the announcement, barq’s platform serves more than 15 million users.
Beyon Money customers will continue using their accounts and services as usual. Over time, they are expected to gain access to barq’s broader platform, capabilities and reach.
Under the agreement, Beyon Money will become part of barq, while Beyon will retain an economic interest in barq. The transaction remains subject to final documentation, regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
The company said Beyon Money’s licences will provide a regulated foundation for barq to expand into new markets, while the business continues serving customers within the enlarged fintech platform.
