Beirut-based ChewCare is launching Goom, a mint-flavoured chewing gum containing caffeine and L-theanine for people seeking portable energy and focus. The company plans to launch in Lebanon in August 2026 before expanding into Gulf and other regional markets.
Each piece contains 50 mg of caffeine, 50 mg of L-theanine, 25 mg of ginseng root powder, and selected B and D vitamins. A pouch includes 10 pieces. ChewCare said the vegan, halal gum is aspartame-free and produced under internationally recognized food-safety systems.
The product was developed by founder Sadecc Choucaire, who said the team tested formulations with several manufacturers to balance effectiveness, taste and a cleaner ingredient profile.
Goom targets professionals, students, athletes, gamers, drivers and others who may not have time or access to coffee or energy drinks. The product also connects to ChewCare’s Get Up Moving initiative, with a QR code on the packaging leading to its online platform.
The company said Goom will be sold through its website, gyms, sports communities, universities, convenience locations and retail partners in Lebanon. ChewCare is also planning additional functional gums, with future products expected to include ingredients such as collagen and creatine.
