Bahrain-based startups Cogman and Luma took the top two spots at the 27th edition of Startup Bahrain’s Startup Tour, which gives early-stage companies a platform to present their ideas and receive feedback from investors and industry experts.
Cogman, an AI-powered business management platform for small and medium-sized enterprises, won first place. Its unified dashboard helps businesses manage operations, finances and inventory. Digital health platform Luma placed second with its personalised health assessments, AI-supported insights and doctor-backed recommendations through a mobile app.
The event also featured Vibo, a social platform built around short videos, voice comments and interactive features, and Meem AI, which develops tailored artificial intelligence tools for organisations, including voice and visual assistants, traffic management and sign-language translation.
Startup Bahrain organised the event with support from Tamkeen and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Board. The participating projects were assessed by a panel of entrepreneurs, investors and business experts.
According to the announcement, the event is part of efforts to support innovation and strengthen Bahrain’s startup ecosystem. Startup Bahrain said entrepreneurs can follow its social media account, @startupbahrain, for information about future editions.
