Dubai Founders HQ has partnered with Mastercard and Pemo to launch a financial solution for startups and small and medium-sized businesses, offering eligible companies more than AED 10,000 ($2,700) in potential annual value during the first year.
The package combines cashback, Mastercard-backed corporate cards, Pemo’s expense management platform and business offers. Cashback can reach 2% on selected foreign exchange and advertising expenses, according to the announcement.
The participating companies could recover between AED 500 and AED 1,200 a month from previously untracked spending, while automation may reduce administrative work by more than 60 hours monthly. The announcement also said the solution can, in some cases, shorten monthly account closing from nine days to three.
Pemo’s platform enables businesses to issue cards, set spending limits, automate approvals, collect receipts and monitor expenses in real time. It also integrates with accounting tools including QuickBooks, Xero and Zoho.
The initiative is positioned as part of Dubai’s efforts to strengthen financial infrastructure for startups and SMEs. Its partners said the solution is intended to help founders retain more capital, improve spending discipline and focus on growth from Dubai into international markets.
