The platform’s insights from May 2026 show significant month-on-month growth in user views across all rental price segments, signaling a wider consumer shift towards flexible and short-term mobility solutions.

The report indicates that this trend isn’t confined to a single demographic, with interest rising in categories from economy vehicles to high-end supercars. This reflects the varied needs of UAE residents, who are increasingly opting for convenience over the commitments of car ownership.
“The latest data highlights continued demand for flexible mobility solutions across the UAE,” commented Sherif Magdy, Head of Sales at dubizzle Cars. “Growth is being driven across all rental price segments—from budget-friendly vehicles to premium and ultra-luxury models, reflecting the diverse needs and preferences of today’s consumers.”
He added, “Consumers increasingly value flexibility, convenience, and choice. Whether they are looking for an economical vehicle for daily commuting or a premium driving experience for a special occasion, short-term rentals continue to offer an attractive and accessible alternative to long-term ownership.”
Budget Rentals Lead the Charge
The most significant activity was recorded in the budget segment (under AED 100 per day), which attracted approximately 285,000 views in May, a 31% increase from April. This underscores a strong, ongoing demand for affordable and practical transport options.
Top-performing models in this category included the EXEED LX, MG MG3, Chery Arrizo 5, Kia Picanto, and MG MG5.
Mid-Range and Premium Tiers See Strong Momentum
Consumer interest remained strong in the mid-range (AED 100–300 per day) and premium (AED 300–500 per day) categories, which saw view increases of 12.7% and 15.7% respectively. These segments cater to users looking for a balance of comfort, performance, and everyday usability.
Popular mid-segment models included the Nissan Patrol, Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class, and Tesla Model 3. In the premium bracket, the Land Rover Defender, BYD Leopard 5, and Chevrolet Corvette were among the most viewed.
Aspirational Rentals Are on the Rise
The trend extends into the higher end of the market, with luxury (AED 500–1,000 per day) and ultra-luxury (AED 1,000+) rentals showing notable engagement growth of 17.8% and 25.8% respectively. This points to a growing appetite for experience-focused rentals for special occasions or short-term indulgences.
High-engagement models in these top tiers included the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Lamborghini Revuelto, Rolls-Royce Ghost, and Cadillac Escalade.
