UAE online marketplace dubizzle said more than 1.33 million classified listings were created using its AI-powered Sell with AI feature over the past four months, highlighting growing use of AI in everyday buying and selling.
More than 250,000 active sellers have used the tool since its launch. By uploading photos, users receive an AI-generated title, suggested category and listing description, which they can edit before publishing.
According to the company, sellers using Sell with AI reduce their time to create a listing by 15% compared with traditional methods. These listings also receive 6.2% more daily buyer enquiries, suggesting that clearer, more detailed advertisements may be attracting greater interest.
Muneeb Farrukh, VP of Product at dubizzle, said the adoption reflects a shift toward technology that simplifies routine tasks and saves users time. The company described the feature as part of Dubizzle Group’s wider investment in AI across its digital platforms.
Dubai-based user Farah Ayesh said the tool helps her create listings for electronics more quickly, giving her a first draft that she can adjust before publishing.
