e& UAE and Abu Dhabi-based Core42 have launched Sovereign AI Compute, a platform giving enterprises and government entities in the UAE in-country access to on-demand GPU infrastructure.
The offering combines Core42’s Sovereign AI Cloud with e& UAE’s national connectivity network, allowing organisations to build, train, fine-tune and deploy AI applications while keeping sensitive data within the UAE. According to the announcement, customers will not need upfront capital expenditure and will not pay data egress fees.
The platform is designed to support production-grade AI workloads across sectors including government, healthcare, financial services, energy, education, retail and manufacturing. It brings compute, private connectivity, local support and professional services under one commercial and operational framework.
The companies said the launch is the first offering under a broader global partnership. e& UAE is also introducing GPU Connect, which bundles GPU capabilities with premium connectivity.
The partnership supports the UAE’s National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031 and its focus on agentic AI. The wider agreement also includes resilience for critical AI services, building on Core42’s Signature National Disaster Recovery Cloud.
Core42 said its Sovereign AI Cloud operates across sovereign data centres worldwide and supports multiple accelerator options, including NVIDIA, AMD, Qualcomm, Microsoft and Cerebras. Its platform also provides access to more than 50 AI models through its Compass Inference layer.
