The Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Fujairah Youth Council held a discussion session focused on the future of Emirati entrepreneurship and innovation.
titled “Emirati Entrepreneurship Creates the Future,” the session took place at the chamber’s theatre on September 24 as part of national initiatives highlighting the role of Emirati talent in business and innovation. It brought together officials, entrepreneurs and young people, including members of the Federal National Council and representatives of the chamber.
Speakers shared their experiences in launching and managing businesses, discussing the challenges of turning ideas into viable opportunities. The examples covered legal services, perfumes and skincare, engineering consultancy, and geological surveying.
The Fujairah SME Support Centre also outlined the support available to entrepreneurs, including business incubator licences, feasibility studies, training and advisory programmes. The chamber said these services are designed to help founders overcome early-stage challenges and build more sustainable businesses.
The session was followed by a brainstorming workshop, “From a Promising Idea to Impactful Entrepreneurship,” focused on developing innovative ideas into practical projects and initiatives.
