Egyptian vacation rental platform Garnest is preparing to expand nationwide after attracting more than 5,000 customers in its first two months and listing over 500 accommodation units.
Founder Ahmed Fazara said the company aims to reach 100,000 customers and approximately 10,000 listed units as it grows in Egypt. The platform operates across Egyptian governorates and tourist destinations, allowing users to search for accommodation near the destination or attraction they plan to visit.
Listings include chalets, holiday homes, serviced apartments, apartments and rooms, with details on pricing, amenities and availability. Property owners and managers can add their units, photos and booking information to reach local customers and tourists visiting Egypt.
Garnest is also expanding beyond accommodation bookings. The company plans to offer services such as photography sessions, tours, tour guides and transportation, while developing an interactive map covering properties, attractions and nearby services.
Fazara said Garnest plans to enter Gulf markets in 2027, after strengthening its Egyptian operations and expanding its network of customers, properties and service providers.
The platform is part of Fazara’s wider entrepreneurial experience, which includes ventures in retail and healthtech and around a decade in business development and partnerships.
